The members of Lady Antebellum haven't just been busy writing hits like Need You Now and American Honey . NASHVILLE — When Lady Antebellum's second album, Need You Now , arrived in January, few people expected that it would sell nearly a half-million copies in its first week — especially not the members of the group. And last month, the group received the most nominations — seven — for April's Academy of Country Music Awards. Having seen pop stations start picking up Need You Now — a moody country-pop track about an ex-lover's booty call — after it topped the country charts, Capitol Records Nashville president/CEO Mike Dungan knew he had a hit album on his hands, but even he didn't know how big.
