YOUR FIRST FEW WEEKS AT COLLEGE During your first week of college, you may be overwhelmed by all the new faces, buildings, classes, and assignments that will be thrown at you. Most students live in the dorms for their first two or three years of college. This can be a good opportunity to meet new people and find rewarding friendships. You should attend events held by the college for the first few weeks so that you can meet other college students. You can also check out local hangouts, clubs, and department events that will allow you to meet other people who are studying similar subjects.
