Another way to teach your children about physical health is to let them know that you exercise as well. If you are a jogger or you attend an aerobics class, you should mention it to your child. They will remember this when they are going to get their exercise. Social Learning If your child goes to day care, they will already know basic social skills. But if your child has been at home with you, they may be afraid to meet new people. You will have to teach your child that meeting new people is a way of life, but they should not talk to those they do not know. This can be a very trying time for you and your child. While some children are outgoing, others are not. Learning how to navigate through society will take your child many years to understand and cope with. While everyone eventually finds there way, it can take some children a lot longer than others. Once your child goes to school, they may ask you why some children are mean to them. This can be very troubling for both of you. You will not only have to comfort your child, but you will also have to find ways to explain it to them. It is at this time that children learn about acceptable social behaviour, what they should and should not say, and who they can trust when they are choosing their friends. While you can give advice and help your child see which friendships are worth keeping, as your child grows, they will not want to ask you for advice. This is part of growing up.

You will have ten to thirty years to pay back your Stafford loans and ten years to pay back your Federal Perkins loans. This means that you will be placed on a monthly payment schedule. If you cannot make the monthly payments, you should contact your lender and ask for an extension on the loan which will lower your monthly payments. You should always read the fine print before agreeing to consolidate your student loans. Some loan companies will charge you extra for making more payments during the year. Many people want to pay off their student loans as quickly as possible in order to have a clean credit history. Make sure you have this option because you never know the type of job you may have five or six years from now. You may be making enough to pay off your loans early. You should choose a lender that has a reputation for consolidating loans. This will ensure that the money you are paying back is going to the right place. Begin by paying off your loans one month at a time. Get settled in your life first and pay off credit cards and other loans first. Since the interest rate will not change for the life of your student loan, it is best to pay it off last and pay off other obligations first.

OVERVIEW OF THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN WESTERN CIVILIZATION
STRUCTURE OF THE WESTERN EDUCATION SYSTEM: The education system in the United States was designed, in part, by the education systems of Europe. When settlers moved to the United States and began to build towns, they had to task of teaching their children how to survive in this new land. Borrowing from traditional method of lectures, apprenticeships, and religion, small schools were established. As these towns grew, so did the schools. By the time the United States declared its freedom; individual towns were responsible for teaching their children. This has not changed much today. Individual states still have control over the education that children receive. Even though states have banded together to create a uniform curriculum, it is still up to each state to be responsible for teaching the children. Over the years, private schools have been established by religions and other organizations who felt they could provide better for the children who attend their churches or who wanted to use different methods of teaching. While this is acceptable under the law, these schools must still provide a solid education that children can use when they become adults. Academic studies have been broken up into grade levels that children must pass in order to continue their education. Most schools operate under this structure: Pre-school, Kindergarten, Grade school, Middle school, High school, College.
